Sorry, I'm pushing the average up. Twelve days younger than B.G. so 65 next week.

So I also count myself lucky to have seen all our cup wins etc. Our best day for me was in '64 when we outplayed Man utd to win 3-1 at Hillsborough in the pissing rain.

Another 67er, although supporting WHU may have aged me a bit!

Re: Average age of WHOers
I'll be 60 in two months, which means that i got to experience us winning some silverware and got to watch the great WHU teams of the late 60s and 70s
I feel sorry for you younger lot who have supported us since the mid 80's and had fuck all to cheer about success wise.

The Mercernary 6:25 - I was born in '66

I was 66 days old when England won the world cup, remember it like it was yesterday.

What did I do yesterday?

Goldstar
As we talking averages in nearly 124 years, West Ham has won just four major honours. That is one every 31 years. Since the last was in 1980 we are already overdue!

Re: Average age of WHOers
Clearly there was a WHU baby boom triggered by us winning the World Cup, as lots of us were conceived in 1966...

Re: Average age of WHOers
It's only 13 years since we came within a whisker of winning the FA Cup, so don't give up yet!

49.

At what age should I start accepting that I'll never see West Ham win the league? Or a cup? Or anything at all in my lifetime?

Re: Average age of WHOers
Not that any really cares but the answer to what is the average age of whoers is

Mean Average 51.3
Mode 50
Median 51

This is based on a sample of 67 answers on this thread
Assuming of course not to many porkies it would seem to be a good estimate

Given all the knicker wetting on here , and looking at the ageson here(49 btw) I'm thinking it's more a physiological problem than an emotional one.
